Moto Rush 2 - Review
Did you ever find yourself wanting to spend some of your free time playing a game that won't take long to learn, but takes some skill and practice to go through? Do you ever wish you could find a free game that will entertain you for hours and hours without you even realizing it? If you answered yes to any of those questions, Moto Rush 2 is definitely the game for you.
Moto Rush 2 is one of the fast-moving bike racing games that will bring any player several hours of fun. The game is basically a combination of the traditional aspects of free motorbike games, like getting to the finish line before your opponents do, with crazy and unconventional bonuses, grounds and obstacles, that require the player to keep a balance, sometimes literally, between moving fast ahead of the other racers and keeping your vehicle from crashing or breaking down.
As you start a new game, you are presented with a island, most of which is obscured by clouds that progressively disappear as you go up through the levels, revealing more challenge grounds. At first, you only get to see four grounds: the Quarry Cup, both in challenge and time mode; the Trophy room, where every new perk you win is stored; the Editor, where you can create and share your very own levels; and Customize Vehicles, where you can change the type and the color of your racing vehicles and even change your character. As you participate and win the challenges, you start unlocking new grounds, as well as new perks, such as new rides and achievement trophies. Also, every time you perform a trick during the race, you collect points that will also reveal new cool content.
The controls of the game are fairly simple to learn, consisting of just the directional arrows on your keyboard, as well as the space bar for jumps and tricks, and the "Z" key for a special speed boost that you get by collecting the many nitro bonuses that are spread throughout the levels. However, while the controls are easy on their own, you have to learn to use them wisely, depending on the terrain. You needs to calculate the right amount of speed and inclination, that combined with great timing, can lead to a successful race and win. This takes a little while to get the hang of, but once you do it, going through the game shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
The graphics of Moto Rush 2 are pretty decent. Lots of colors, creative designs, and very fun-looking maps. One great thing this game has are the characters. You start with a ninja, and you can later obtain a clown, a robot, or a super girl. Either way, doing air tricks with a ninja or a robot is very entertaining. The musical part of the game is also excellent. It matches the different maps and races very nicely, usually making them more exciting.
Overall, Moto Rush 2 is a pretty wonderful game to play. It has the potential of keeping you hooked to your computer for quite a bit of time before you even realize what happened, and the best part is that if you get tired, you can always come back and continue on. This game is a definite boredom killer.
