Power Driving
Power Driving is a game for all you adrenaline junkies out there. It has all the qualities one good racing game needs to have. You have the ability to progress and improve, many awesome racing tracks to choose from, loads of nitro to make your head spin and brutal muscle cars to make you crazy with excitement.
Power Driving definitely has power as the imperative of the game. Namely, it is all about the raw force of the car you are driving and the progress of pushing the metallic beast to its limits, or even beyond.
Power Driving Gameplay
As far as the gameplay itself is considered, Power Driving is fairly straightforward. Basically, you have a menu which allows you to choose a car and a racing track. Once you have done this, the race begins and you are in for quite a ride.
Namely, this game requires you to beat three or four fierce opponents. The AI or the other drivers is quite sharp and they are prone to mischievous acts such as pushing you around and doing anything to leave you far behind, inhaling the exhaust fumes from their machines. However, it is up to you to make sure that exactly the opposite happens.
The controls are basic, with direction keys and a brake being of predominant importance. However, you also have the nitro engage command with the “N” key, allowing you more speed in order to take the upper hand during the race and beat all the other poor saps as you cross the finish line first.
As the game advances, you are able to unlock new cars, new racing tracks and new records, having your name written on the high score list.
The Feeling
Speaking about the visuals and the physics of the game, only words of praise are to be chosen. Power Driving looks awesome, with graphics suitable for a full CD game. Yet, this little shiny jewel loads in several seconds, allowing you instant fun without the extra hassle. The textures are truly wonderful and there are advanced shadows, sparks during collisions, blurs and all other eye candy for every adventure-thirsty driver out there.
As for the physics, the game behaves well and will never let you down, when it comes to realistic controls and the overall racing atmosphere.
Finally, Power Driving is rigged with more than suitable tunes which will speed up your blood flow even more, adding quite a few of extra heartbeats per minute. And if you like racing, don't forget to check out bike racing games. All in all, Power Driving is an awesome game you shouldn’t miss.
