Stunt Dirt Bike 2
Stunt Dirt Bike 2 is a game that I actually enjoyed playing very much. Although the graphics aren't as high tech as some motorbike games online, it is nearly as addicting as Nintendo's, Super Mario. This game is very easy to play but also gets a little more difficult with each advancement in levels. It has a sense adventure and an almost humorous feel while you are playing it because of the wonderfully illustrated background and in game scenery. Stunt Dirt Bike 2 takes the player on a great ride through jungles, gravel pits, construction sights, and over obstacles of all sorts. Ranging from riding over Easter Island statues, rocks, trees, gravel, and even at some points... Elephants?
The controls in this game are very simple to use. The up, down, left, and right arrows are all you need to guide your rider up and over obstacles, regardless if its an elephants trunk or Tarzan's tree house. There is also a variety of different off road vehicle types you can choose from, some vehicles being more or less challenging to use, however I believe this is great feature in the game. This ultimately allows any operator to play at his or her own skill level. Also as you progress in the game, more vehicles are available to unlock introducing a nice sense of accomplishment, which is in my opinion, something any good addicting game should have.
Although this game is fairly easy to play at times, Stunt dirt bike 2 has some considerably challenging parts in it. There are some very frustrating levels, being the fact that many areas of certain levels are almost impossible to get through and become increasingly frustrating at times as well as confusing. I myself was stuck on the third level for a good 20 minutes switching between every vehicle possible to get over some pretty tough obstacles. Also, some vehicles are fairly hard to control and tend to fall backwards causing you to do a back flip, thus landing on your head and failing the obstacle coarse. But this in fact, is also another great feature, you can't necessarily just blow through every level on one vehicle. It takes some time, strategy, and getting used to each vehicle individually as well as some decent hand eye coordination.
Although Stunt Dirt Bike 2 really doesn't have the highest quality graphics in the world, that being because the game play is in 2D old school arcade style, it is considerably addicting and fun none the less. This game does however contain many qualities that I look for specifically in a game. Such as being just enough but not overly challenging, containing achievements or unlockable items, steady progression, humor, easy to use controls, and decent graphics as well as game instruction. All in all I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys similar games such as Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Sonic, etc. It is fast paced, easy to play, (after some getting used to of coarse) as well as extremely addicting once you start progressing.
